The house is a mix of historic and modern. It was built in 1931 and features a decades-old first floor guest bedroom near the wood-walled library. There is an ornate living room on the first floor, and art work from URI students and faculty fill the walls. Other photos include black and whites of old URI events, including panel discussions with U.S. Sens. John H. Chafee and Claiborne Pell.
