Timmy Global Health

The purpose of Timmy Global Health is to assist and support existing healthcare systems in communities in South America and Africa through. This is accomplished by supporting previously established organizations in these communities. Through providing support and resources to these organizations, communities are able to be assisted continuously throughout the year, rather than just when Timmy Global Health service teams are present in the area. Additionally, Timmy Global Health sends healthcare professionals, volunteers, and students periodically throughout the year to these communities, as well as fundraises for the established organizations that are in these areas, service trips, medical supplies, and other necessary resources. Through these actions, Timmy Global Health is able to empower communities to address health disparities in a sustainable way. Our URI Timmy Global Health chapter supports this mission through advocating for global health disparities, serving the local community, and fundraising for these medical service trips and these partner organizations.
