About this Group
The study of the biological sciences provides you with a wholistic perspective on the world–from the cellular and molecular level, to large populations and living systems–and essential tools for addressing global challenges such as disease, food insecurity, loss of biodiversity, and climate change.Our department offers undergraduates a solid foundation in basic biology and the supporting sciences of mathematics, chemistry, and physics with a special emphasis on field work and experiential learning. Our interdisciplinary graduate degrees offer a variety of interdepartmental research opportunities with world class faculty mentors.
