The University of Rhode Island Bands sponsor the  Eta Chi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, the National Honorary Band Sorority. The purpose of this group is to support the URI Bands, including fund-raising, service, and social activities. Membership is available upon completion of one semester in the URI Bands as selected and recommended by the membership of the chapter and the chapter Sponsor.
