Most faculty job applications require the submission of a Teaching Philosophy or Teaching Statement.  This session will go through the basics of these statements and review examples and discuss common mistakes writers make.  We will initiate the drafting of a Teaching Statement in this session, including ways to weave your DEI approaches and practices through your teaching and curriculum.  Led by Associate Dean and Professor Colleen Mouw and the Graduate Writing Center.  This workshop is part of the Graduate School's Equitable and Inclusive Teaching and Pedagogy Badge Program.
