#IEWIt is increasingly becoming necessary to have experiences with foreign languages and cultures to succeed in today's global landscape. Join the School of Education to learn about its two new study abroad programs designed to globalize your URI education while contributing to a cross-section of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education; Reduced Inequality; and Gender Equality in the Dominican Republic and Germany. Both programs were designed for education students. However, health science, international development, and language students will also find them interesting. Come and enjoy some light food from each destination while our faculty and staff share details about each program. The Dominican Republic Faculty-led program will run from March 11 – 17, and students who enroll in this program can earn 3 credits.
Presented by: Tashal Brown, Faculty Lead - Dominican Republic Faculty-led Program; Rabia Hos, Faculty Lead - German Faculty-led Summer Program & Student Exchange Program; Colleen Rossignol, Coordinator of Global Education & Partnerships - Program lead for DR and Germany
