Eta Chi will be hosting our Women in Music series on Saturday April 30 at 5pm in the Memorial Union room 360. This year, our speaker is Atla DeChamplain.

Atla DeChamplain is a lecturer in Amplified Voice at URI. She is a unique vocalist specializing in reinterpreting the Great American Songbook and writing and performing vocalese music. Atla leads a band with her husband, pianist Matt DeChamplain. She authors a blog for aspiring Jazz Vocalists and is currently working on a book about learning and performing Vocalese.
