Join URI Trustee Christine Heenan for a discussion centered on her career in communications and public affairs. Christine is chief communications officer and executive partner at Cambridge-based Flagship Pioneering and the founder of Clarendon Group, a communications strategy and social impact consulting firm. While at Clarendon she advised many notable clients, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Whitehead Institute, the Social Science Research Foundation, and others. She also held senior leadership positions at The Rockefeller Foundation and Harvard University and was a White House senior policy analyst and speechwriter during the Clinton administration. She has taught at Brown University and Harvard College, and served as a fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center and an executive fellow at Harvard Business School. In addition to the URI Board of Trustees, she serves on the board of the David Rockefeller Fund.
