This guided walk will be led by Danielle Perry, a fourth year PhD Candidate in the Biological and Environmental Sciences Program at URI, with a specialization in Ecology and Ecosystem Sciences. Danielle is a 2017 recipient of the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Her research interests include salt marsh ecology, restoration ecology, and coastal habitat conservation. She has participated in the effort to restore the salt marsh in Pettaquamscutt Cove. As we walk, Danielle will identify the different wetlands species. This workshop is free thanks to the URI Master Gardener Program and Friends of Canonchet Farm. Registration NOT required.
