Join leaders in energy efficiency for the first of three lectures highlighting cutting-edge energy research and outreach projects under way in Rhode Island.

Wednesday, October 7, 2020 @ 6:30 p.m - 8:00 p.m.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the links between health and the built environment. Adequate ventilation is essential to reducing transmission of the virus causing COVID-19 and people living without proper ventilation may be at an increased risk of exposure. As public buildings, schools and offices remain closed due to concerns about the virus, the negative social and economic effects are burgeoning. Energy efficiency work is a tool that can be used to increase the health and safety of buildings, and potentially, reduce exposure to COVID-19.
