Vangermeersch Endowed Lecture Series 2018 with Rusty Rueff

The College of Business at URI is excited to announce the 11th annual Vangermeersch Endowed Lecture Series with Rusty Rueff. Rusty is an active advisor and board director for venture-backed start-ups and philanthropic causes. He will talk about what it means to be an entrepreneur, what it takes to be successful, and how to get the attention of venture capitalists. He'll also share some lessons learned from his years of experience in the field.

About Rusty Rueff:

Rusty served on the board of directors of Glassdoor from the formation of the board in 2007 to the $1.2 billion acquisition of the company in June 2018. He currently serves on the board of Runcoach. He also serves on the board of trustees and is the former president of the board of trustees of the San Francisco-based American Conservatory Theater. He is a founding board member of the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition, and a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and The National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences.

Rusty is also a member of the URI Foundation Board of Directors.
