Join us for URI's Holiday Concert featuring the Symphony Orchestra and the University Chorus. "Peace and Light" will be the message of the University Chorus program, with works by Mozart and Mendelssohn as well as contemporary works by Joan Szymko, Elizabeth Alexander and Susan LaBarr. The Symphony Orchestra will feature Tchaikovsky's magical Symphony No. 1, nicknamed "Winter Daydreams." Rich with Nutcracker-esque textures and melodies, the wintry first symphony serves as a beautiful and poignant accompaniment to the holiday season.
