The URI Symphony Orchestra, a proud community tradition for 85 years, features the talents of the URI Music Department and the avid community of local musicians.

The Symphony Orchestra, Ann Danis, conductor, will present a varied program of classic and contemporary works including the famous "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and will feature the world premiere of URI music composition major Tyler James Barboza's "Water Symphony." Other works to be performed are "Summer Dances" by Brian Balmages and the final movement of Paul Hindemith's "Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes" by Carl Maria Von Weber.
