In the spring of each year, The URI Schmidt Labor Research Center presents our Labor and Employment Law Conference. This year, our 35th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference will be hosted by the Rogers Williams School of Law. The conference features speakers from federal and state agencies, labor and employment lawyers, and academics. Recent topics have included Rhode Island Court updates, legal implications of new human resource practices, employment arbitration, federal court decisions, National Labor Relations Board decisions, and federal discrimination cases.
