URI SHRM is the The University of Rhode Island’s Society for Human Resource Management Student Chapter. We connect our chapter and alumni members to a global network of organizational leaders and people operations professionals. URI SHRM provides up-to-date information on business world trends, enriching leadership opportunities, and upcoming networking events. The URI chapter prioritizes professional development and supporting diversity. Student members attend meetings hosted by our sponsoring state chapter, RI SHRM, plan and facilitate professional skills workshops, and collaborate with the College of Business to nurture the personal and professional growth of our participating members. Our chapter was recently awarded the Superior Merit Award by SHRM National for the 2022-23 academic year, and we are seeking student members who want to help us exceed last year's achievements!
