Join us to celebrate the National Day on Writing at URI, where we will look for innovative ways to expand writing beyond the classroom. For nearly a decade, National Day on Writing celebrations across the nation have focused on writing as a central part of our everyday lives. 

The URI Writing Center, URI’s Department of Writing and Rhetoric, and Writing Across URI are partnering to provide an exciting day for URI students, faculty, staff and parents to write and to celebrate writing in all forms. We invite you to participate in, to volunteer for, and to bring your classes to the different events happening throughout the day. Come write on the Graffiti Wall, enter to win raffle prizes, participate in fun writing activities, and much more.
