The University of Rhode Island Middle School Model United Nations Conference is a day-long educational event bringing together middle school students from across Rhode Island to engage in diplomatic simulation and debate. Students will participate in various UN committees, developing skills in public speaking, research, negotiation, and global awareness. URI student volunteers will serve as committee chairs and staff, mentoring younger students through the Model UN experience. This event serves as a capstone project for the Honors Program.
