Upcycled Dinghy Container Gardening

Friends of the Waterfront and Sail to Prevail invites everyone to join them for the newest dinghy planting installation at Fort Adams. The new dinghy planter will house native RI plants, some North American wild flowers along with other pollinator plants. Native hand-made bee hotels will be on display along with a chat on what you can do to support their habitats in your own landscape. Then, URI Master Gardeners will demonstrate step-by-step procedures of using upcycled dinghies as large planters - light refreshments will be served. This is a rain or shine event, and free pollinator plants and free seeds will be given away to the public. Registration not required.
