The Transfer Resource Center has been busy preparing for your arrival to campus in the coming week. We love the beginning of the semester and can't wait to welcome you to URI! 

If you have not yet met with your academic advisor, log-in to Starfish to make a same-day appointment. Starfish time slots open daily beginning at 8:30a.m.from Wednesday, August 30 - Friday, September 15. If you do not have access to the system, call 401.874.2993 for assistance.

O-Week is a tradition that helps students transition to life at URI. During O-Week you will have the opportunity to explore campus, meet your fellow Rams, meet with campus resources, and get settled as you begin classes. 

We hope you will make time to stop by the Transfer Resource Center. We will be hosting drop-in office hours between 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. on September 5. The Transfer Resource Center is located in Roosevelt Hall, suite 018. We can help you review the transfer checklist, connect you with advising or other campus resources, give you the opportunity to meet other transfer students, join a section of Transfer Student URI101 (required for transfer students with fewer than 24 credits), learn about Tau Sigma, our transfer honor fraternity, or receive help answering your other questions for a successful start at URI. We will also have free food to enjoy during your visit! 

Can't make it and still have academic questions? No problem! UCAS https://web.uri.edu/advising/ is hosting drop-in office hours beginning August 30, during business hours. Don't forget to register your account on URInvolved and learn about more O-Week events!
