Tiny + Wild, a new book published in March about building a small-scale meadow anywhere, was written by RI native and URI Department of Landscape Architecture alum Graham Gardner ‘06. On Saturday, June 24, 2023, Graham will give two FREE talks on the book at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Kettle Pond Visitor Center in Charlestown. Each talk will be followed by a book signing. Before or after the talks, attendees are encouraged to tour the Kettle Pond Visitor Center Native Plant Gardens. They are one of 18 public and private gardens featured on the Gardening with the Master’s Tour on June 24 and 25, 2023. About the Author: Graham has over 25 years of experience in landscape design and project management in public, private, and non-profit sectors. Graham’s diverse experiences, in New England, Colorado, California, and Puerto Rico, have reinforced his passion to guide the public on best management practices and the importance of creating unique spaces inspired by natural plant communities. Graham is a leader in the new paradigm of high-functioning, water-smart, and low-maintenance landscapes.
