Marking the centenary of the First World War, internationally renowned director Peter Jackson (The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogies) uses the voices of the veterans combined with original archival footage to bring to life the reality of war on the front line for a whole new generation.  Footage has been colorized and transformed with modern production techniques to present never-before-seen detail.  

The URI Student Veterans Organization in collaboration with the Office of Veterans Affairs and Military Programs will be showing this amazing documentary FREE to the public in Swan Auditorium.  We want to share the experiences of Veterans with the general public to create dialogues between civilians and military populations.  We want the conversation to continue after you say or hear, "Thank you for your service."
