Hopi E. Hoekstra, Alexander Agassiz Professor of Zoology and Curator of Mammals in the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University will discuss:
"Digging for genes that affect behavior" on March 28th 6:00 PM in Beaupre 100 followed by a reception at 7:00 PM
"A tale of tails: the genetic and developmental basis of adaptation" on March 29th 3:00 PM in Pharmacy 170.
Dr. Hoekstra's researh focuses on understanding how variation is generated and maintained in natural populations -- from morphology to behavior -- in vertebrates, primarily wild mice
