The 21st Annual Black Scholar Awards Program

The University of Rhode Island's Black Scholar Awards Program was established by Black faculty to acknowledge the diverse achievements and contributions of students of African descent in the areas of community service, university service, athletics, leadership, arts, science, research, and scholarship. On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 7:00 pm, the Black Scholar Awards Program Committee will hold the 21st Annual Black Scholar Awards at the Memorial Union, Rainville Ballroom (50 Lower College Rd, Kingston, RI 02881). A 6:00 pm reception will precede the program.

The Black Scholar Awards is sponsored by the Office of the President; Office of the Provost; Office of Community, Equity and Diversity; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business; College of Engineering; College of the Environment and Life Sciences; Faculty and Staff Association of the African Diaspora; and Africana Studies.
