This workshop will focus on establishing organizational guidelines to assist in displaying scientific research on a visual platform. Students will practice using design principles to structure the relationship among the visual elements of form, the compositional elements, and the desired message. Potential applications could include poster design, powerpoint presentations, reporting and peer-reviewed journals. Activities will allow students to create original imagery using Nature Lab equipment and work in groups to create a research poster.
