What goes into designing a scientific poster that effectively conveys research goals and findings while capturing the attention of passersby at a busy scientific conference? With support from the Rhode Island NSF Experimental Program to Simulate Competitive Research (RI EPSCoR) and in partnership with the Rhode Island School of Design, Metcalf Institute will hold a mini scientific poster design workshop for Rhode Island researchers. Workshop speakers will share tips for designing clear and engaging conference posters using traditional tools and interactive media.
