Rhody Cares: Basic Needs Insecurity at URI
About this Event
Students dealing with basic needs insecurity for food, housing, health care, technology, transportation, and childcare face significant barriers to graduation. URI has resources and support services in place to navigate and overcome these obstacles.
Join Jacqui Springer, assistant dean, student support and advocacy services on this Zoom webinar to learn more about the challenges, available resources, and how you can help.
You’ll also learn about “Share a Swipe for Hope: Students Helping Students” hosted by the Student Alumni Association. On Friday, April 22, URI students will be able to support fellow Rams by swiping their meal cards, debit cards, credit cards, and/or making a cash gift.
Registration Deadline: Friday, April 15
Cost: Complimentary
