Join us to explore the fascinating world of native bees, their vital role in our ecosystem and how incorporating native plants into your landscape can aid pollinator conservation. Learn about common threats to bees—such as habitat loss, invasive species, pesticide use, and climate change—and practical steps you can take as a homeowner, gardener or bee enthusiast to support native pollinators.

Get inspired with ideas for using native plants and floral diversity to attract bees, rethinking your lawn and creating pollinator-friendly gardens. Participants will also receive access to helpful resources from the URI Bee Lab, including recommended pollinator plant lists, native plant guides and best gardening practices for supporting native bees.

This workshop is offered for free thanks to the URI Master Gardener Progarm. All are welcome.
