URI's director of orchestral activities, Dr. Luis Víquez, leads an ensemble of URI facutly, alumni and local music professionals in a concert that features the music of URI Music professor and instructor of music composition, Dr. Eliane Aberdam.  Dr. Aberdam's Kaddishanta for soprano and chamber orchestra will be presented with soloist Logan Trotter,  and her Otohime for double bass and chamber ensemble will be performed by URI bass instructor Joseph 

Bentley.  Also featured will be Ian Farrington's arrangement of Jan Sibelius's second symphony scored for 13 players.  This event, made possible thanks to support from the URI Division of Research, is free and open to the pubic.
