Public Notification Meeting Notice regarding Sediment Sampling and Management of White Horn Brook-Ellery Pond to Route 138 Restoration Project. The URI Office of Capital Improvements completed a sediment sampling investigation of the White Horn Brook from Ellery Pond to Route 138 as part of the preliminary planning for a proposed restoration project. The goal of the investigation was to determine the project’s sediment management options.

A public meeting will be held during which a summary of the RIDEM records pertaining to this project will be presented and a question and answer session period held at the presentation’s conclusion. Attendees will have an opportunity to submit written comments regarding the technical feasibility of preferred remedial measures. The public comment period wiil end July 24, 2012.
