The Peace Corps Prep Program (PCPP)  will host an information session on Wednesday, November 20th, 4:00-5:30pm, in CBLS #435.  Pizza will be included! This meeting is open to all ALL STUDENTS interested in learning more about the Peace Corps. 

The information session will begin with a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (via Zoom) who volunteered in Tanzania.  She will share her perspectives on service in the country as a STEM teacher and will answer any questions you may have regarding her time abroad.

During the second half of the session we will welcome URI’s regional Peace Corps (PC) recruiter, Andrew Starcevic, who will present on “what to expect” in terms of the PC application and how to better prepare for the process overall.  He will also review the logistics of the program, as well as what candidates can do to gain more experience either through joining PCPP and/or other types of experiences.
