Lorén Spears, Narragansett, and Executive Director of Tomaquag Museum, will share the historical and contemporary impacts on the ocean and how they effect Indigenous rights, including access, health disparities, reparative strategies, and food sovereignty initiatives. She will also express the agency and vibrant cultural continuation of the Native community in relationship with the salt waters.
