Calling all sophomores with a 3.0 or higher who are interested in a career related to the mission of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA)!  Whether you want to be a marine biologist, geologist, ocean engineer, a meteorologist, marine policy analyst, a teacher of environmental sciences, or something else NOAA-related, the Hollings Scholarship can open so many doors for you!   

The scholarship provides 1) a total of $19,000 in scholarships for your junior and senior years, 2) a paid summer internship (with housing allowance) at a NOAA facility anywhere in the US, 3) fully-paid attendance two NOAA Hollings conferences in Silver Spring, MD (at NOAA headquarters), and 4) support to present the results of your Internship research at two professional scientific meetings. URI has produced 29 Hollings Scholars since 2005.  Come learn more, and maybe you will be next!
