Book talk by Anthony Gregory

ANTHONY GREGORY is a Hoover Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace. His work examines the political, legal, and ideological development of state power, in both its liberatory and coercive dimensions, and in particular the ways law enforcement and security policy interact with liberalism and constitutional federalism. Gregory eamed his history BA, MA and PhD at the University of Califomia-Berkeley, and has been a postdoctoral research associate at Brown University's Political Theory Project and an assistant professor in residence at Rhode Island School of Design. He is currently working on a project on the evolving meaning of the Bill of Rights, and an examination of post-World War II political theory and historicism.
