Microaggressions in Daily Life: Lunch & Conversation

In this workshop participants will engage in a facilitated discussion that explores the following core questions: What are microaggressions? How do you recognize microaggressions when they occur? What are the causes and consequences of microaggressions? What tools are available to combat microaggressions?

First in a series of Lunch and Conversation events for faculty sponsored by the Arts and Sciences Diversity Committee. Faculty members are encouraged to invite a graduate student. Boxed lunches will be provided. Please RSVP by February 20th to Anna Vaccaro Gray (anna@uri.edu).
