Please join us on Thursday, April 27th, as we gather to recognize the removal of the Malcolm X misquote that was placed on the library over 30 years ago. URI leaders, students, and Black Student Leadership Group (BSLG) alumni will provide remarks.
The event begins at 2:00 p.m. in front of the main library entrance and will include a speaking program and refreshments.
*in case of inclement weather, we would hold the event in the Galanti Lounge on the 3rd floor of the library.
