Long Story Short

Allison Bianco is a printmaker whose vibrant prints explore nostalgia and inconsistencies of memory, through views of Rhode Island coastlines. The panoramic views feature impending storms and massive expanses of ocean, where abstracted graphic shapes allude to warnings on the horizon and the contemporary reality of rising tides. Allison Bianco is the recipient of a Visual Arts Sea Grant (2015) from the University of Rhode Island, and her work is in notable collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA; The New York Public Library, NY; and Yale University Art Gallery, CT, among others. Her work is represented by Cade Tompkins Projects, Providence, RI.
