Roger Williams felt that Rhode Island would be a "lively experiment" in the cause of religious freedom, Mark Conley feels the same way about his elite student group when it comes to programming chamber vocal repertoire.

Lively Experiment presents "This is Thy Hour," an immersive concert experience, with music from the Renaissance, last century and the present day.   In the words of the Whitman text Lively will sing: "pondering the themes thou lovest best," this concert will be a journey from true darkness to a night of hope.
