In April 2013, the University hired four new faculty members as part of the new Islamic and Mediterranean Studies cluster. At that time, funds were made available to build the Libraries’ collection in this area.

This display highlights items specifically purchased at that time with funds from the Provost’s Office and selected by Assistant Professor Alan Verskin to build the Libraries’ collections in Islamic and Mediterranean History.
