Cottage food manufacturing is permitted in Rhode Island, allowing certain foods to be produced in a residential kitchen and sold directly to consumers. The RI Food Safety Task Force Conference will highlight regulatory requirements for cottage food production. Presentations will include the importance of food safety culture, food safety considerations for cottage food production and information for growing a food business.  The cost to attend this conference is $10.00.
