Rising STEM Seniors (and recent grads):

Consider applying for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

Info Session: NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

September 7, 2023 at 3pm on Zoom

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is a competitive award that provides 3 years of funding to research-based master’s and doctoral students in STEM disciplines. For those applying to graduate school this fall (for AY 2024-25 start date), you should consider applying for this portable and prestigious funding source! The deadlines are October 17 through 21 (varies by field of study), so this is also a great pre-writing opportunity for your graduate applications due later this fall/winter.  This past year two Honors Program graduates (Hendricks and Lopez) were selected as fellows!

The info session will cover tips for navigating the application process with GWC Writing Consultant, Katie Roche. Kathleen Maher from the ONFAO will also be online to provide answers to questions. Please note that to be eligible for this fellowship, you must have completed no more than one academic year of graduate study and must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident.
