This session is a discussion of the rights of individuals with disabilities to be included in academia in general and URI specifically and how ableism prevents disabled individuals from accessing these rights.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 365 Symposium, DE&I 365, is a yearlong ‘third space’ for University of Rhode Island’s students, faculty, staff, alum, affiliates, and community members to convene conversations about diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and decolonization. The conversations will take many forms including panels, workshops, presentations, book talks, discussion groups, envisioning sessions, teach-ins, and more. The theme for this year's symposium is allyship.
