How do you get to an ice floe? What's it like to work with scientists from all over the world? URI international scholar and post-doctoral fellow Alessandra D'Angelo shares her experience as a member of the MOSAiC expedition, the largest polar expedition in history. The expedition, which included hundreds of researchers from 20 countries, aimed to take the closest look ever at the Arctic as the epicenter of global warming and to gain fundamental insights that are key to better understanding global climate change.
