Historical Significance and Cultural Practices of Wilcox Park
About this Event
Free EventWilcox Park was listed in the National Registry of Historic Places in 1978; designated a Medallion Park by the ASLA in 1999; and deemed a "nationally significant" listing in the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. Alan Peck, the superintendent of the Park, will show us the features and aspects of the Park that make it historically significant. Additionally, Alan will explain the cultural practices his team uses to keep the Park looking its best while keeping it safe for visitors.
