Shakespeare's Hamlet follows a grief-stricken young prince set on avenging the untimely death of his father, the King of Denmark. Revealing his brother and successor Claudius as his murderer in a spectral visitation to Hamlet, the King directs him down a path of series of plots and attempts to assassinate Claudius while slowly slipping further from reality and becoming consumed by his own mortal paranoia and madness.
