The Human Frontier Science Fellowship Program supports proposals for frontier, potentially transformative research in the life sciences.  HFSFP offers postdoctoral fellowships to encourage early career scientists to broaden their research skills by moving into new areas of study while working in a new country.  In this webinar, Dr. Barbara Pauly, who runs the HFSP Fellowship Program, will present funding opportunities for two types of fellowships:

  • Long-Term Fellowships - for applicants with a PhD on a biological topic who want to embark on a novel and frontier project focusing on life sciences.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Fellowships - for applicants who will hold a doctoral degree from a non-biological discipline (e.g. physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering or computer sciences) and who have not worked in the life sciences before.

The program is cohosted by the Division of Research and Economic Development, the Graduate School, and the Graduate School of Oceanography.
