Fall 2021 Teaching for Learning HIT Seminar

Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 12:30pm to 2:00pm

Tyler Hall, 225

Would you like an opportunity to critically reflect on the current moment, and share tips among teaching colleagues on how to best support our students and ourselves?
Would you like to help your students achieve significant learning in your courses, develop effective learning strategies (eg. instead of cramming), and be more prepared and engaged?
If you answered YES to one or more of these, the Teaching for Learning HIT Seminar is for you!

Participants explore evidence-based strategies and practical teaching principles in eight sessions, receive permanent access to seminar resources, and up to $1,000 in professional development funds (for conferences, student assistants, technology, licenses, etc.) to support implementing an action plan for change in one of their courses.

Dr. Anna Santucci looks forward to working and learning with you!

Time: Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm
Dates: September 21st, 28th, October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and November 2nd, 16th
Location: Tyler Hall 225 (Remote sessions will be offered if there is a need for a virtual pivot)
