Faculty are invited to the annual Faculty Writing Retreat on May 16 & 17, hosted by Writing Across URI.
Doors will open for eager writers by 8:30 on both mornings. Faculty are invited to stay all day or come and go; to work alone quietly or meet with a faculty writing consultant, a statistician, or a reference librarian. Refreshments will be provided at 9 am and again at noon on both days. Click here to register for the writing retreat.
On Wednesday, May 16, the morning will include an exciting workshop presented by former director of the Mānoa Writing Program at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, Jim Henry on "Engaging Student Writers Across the Disciplines through Place-Based Assignments."
