The URI Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, part of Cooperative Extension, will be hosting a nutrition education series at the West Warwick Health Equity Zone HUB. Classes feature cooking demos, physical activity, and lessons about healthy eating on a budget. The classes are free and open to income-eligible parents and their school-age children. Rising first graders and older are welcome with their parents. Both parents and children will be participating in the classes.
