Come celebrate the homecoming weekend by listening to The URI Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Gene J. Pollart, which always features the most outstanding wind and percussion players at the University, in programs of new and distinctive music for wind ensemble.
This program features music by Jeremy Bell (The Wind Racers), Frank Ticheli (Cajun Folk Songs), Bruce Yurko (Danza No. 2), Prelude, Siciliano & Rondo (Malcom Arnold), and The Children of Gaia, by Robert Sheldon - in which you will hear descriptive sounds of the fearsome Typhon, the water goddess Tethys, and the menacing Enceladus.
General Admission $12, Students $7, Seniors (60 and older) $7, Children 12 and under $0.
