Whether you’re preparing a personal statement for medical or other health professional programs, applying for a fellowship or scholarship, or considering graduate school, this session will guide you through reflective writing strategies to bring your experiences to life.

Facilitated by URI Pre-Health Career Pathways, the URI Office of Fellowships, and the URI Writing Center, this workshop will prompt you to actively write, reflect, and shape your narrative. By the end, you’ll leave with:

• A draft of your personal story
• Practical tools for turning that story into a compelling application essay
• Expert guidance on refining your writing for different audiences and purposes

This workshop is open to all undergraduate students and recent alumni. No matter where you are in your journey.
